Interesting and definitely you must see place in Saint-Ėmilion AOC Grand Cru Classé Château. Another Michel Rollands'wine consultant child. Outstanding new cellar design by Jean Nouvel opened at 2014. 29 hectares, 81% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. Barrel ageing between 16 to 18 months; 70% new barrels. Wine style, especially famous in Bordeaux, for a spicy character - a black pepper and a smoke dominated with cherries, redcurrants and blackberries. Perfect match with a grill. Neighbour of Cheval Blanc, Figeac and La Conseillante. Good Restaurant 'Le Terrasse Rouge' on the top floor with a rich selection of French wines and menu dominated by stakes. Beautiful view. Open for everyone by apointments. Check a website to...

After very average sightseeing in Bordeaux, our expectations were low, but both my husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our wine tour at Château la Dominique! It was a scorching 40° outside but the guide showed us the key areas on site and continued the detailed explanation indoors, in a more conducive environment. I learnt so much on the 1 hour tour (Visite La Charme) and the guide patiently answered all our questions in English and French. The tour concluded with a tasting of 3 wines, which once again explained the nuances of drinking wine.

The vineyard itself is beautiful, with stunning views.

Absolutely loved the entire experience and highly...

Total falta...

Amazing vignoble realized with legendary artist Jeff Koons lending artistic design. Reserve yourself a 30 minute tasting of four wines for 15€. Do this in advance as it gets busy. I would go as far to recommend specifically Victor whom curated our degustation. He was clear and explained in as much detail as possible the history of the vineyard, area, rating system, spirit and terroir. My review of la Terrasse Rouge is separate from this review and it is not five stars.
