I called up for a reservation for lunch and asked for an outside table, then when I arrived was given a table inside on a warm day, ask for water 45 minutes later ask again, then get the water, also asked if I want another glass of wine, of course I do, the Burrata salad was good not great, This arrived rapidly, probably because I already prepared tomatoes were a little bit soggy, then the fish with risotto, fish over cooked unable to break off peice with fork at all, In fact best description is rubbery for the fish, I Took three bites and then gave up not edible… but it was still charged anyhow, I don’t blame waitstaff and probably kitchen also understaffed and working very hard to the point of sweating, then after going to lunch, I go to the Hotel office to explain the situation, for very relaxed staff in the office did nothing, perhaps they could be in the restaurant helping to bus tables and to pour drinks, not so difficult…: would’ve expected Hotel to take charge for Entre off of the bill but no not even an offer, I never do this sort of thing but only in Bordeaux for a few days, I was expecting a great lunch on the recommendation of another person and found the restaurant had failed, Just to explain they abuse the staff because there’s 35 people eating on the terrace and only to wait staff, this is unconscionable People should avoid restaurants that abuse their employees, I explained to bartender I understood the situation but still i was very unhappy

Just as an added note, the response from the restaurant is to come back and try again, NEVER would ever go back to this place, again no offer for adjustment of bill, typical response from management that...

Gorgeous views and ambiance…..if only we could have enjoyed it. We booked a reservation for the terrace and were confirmed, only to arrive and have the one option outside be the one table in direct sun, with a 37C high. We had our two dogs with us, so we opted to go inside. We had a choice of a table next to a group with three loud children, or next to the bar, where the servers would noisily dump there dishes and glasses. We took that over the kids, but we ended up really with both. After being seated, we were brought a carafe of water…..thank god….because the next time we got attention was 25 min later asking if we wanted something to drink. Fast forward……. Decent food (but by no means great) and terrible service. Next time, I will go back to Le Jardin, where the food, service and atmosphere are all exceptional. Definitely not a place I would revisit. (Note: I am a sommelier and have spent years in the...

We had a great time, beautiful location, delicious and beautiful food, great wine and excellent service.

I noticed the recent reviews here commenting about service issues, on our experience these have been addressed. We were here for dinner Saturday night, it was very busy, and we were served by quite a big team of young and enthusiastic servers, some of them very experienced and others learning from them. They were clearly working together closely to ensure attentive service. And every dish we had was made to perfection so kitchen must be...

We had a really, really lovely meal in this beautiful restaurant. The food was great, and the views were incredible. We were shocked that there was hardly anyone there. It was very quiet and practically empty, but I'm not sure why because it was one of our favourite restaurants ever - everything was delicious and it was even fairly kid-friendly (as far as France standards go).

Absolutely superb meal - wish we had found it earlier during our stay in the region. My wife who is coeliac (no gluten) ate completely safely and they even had fresh gf bread as we had mentioned when booking earlier in the day. The wine recommendations (I asked for a glass with each dish) were also fabulous. Will definitely return!
