The California — Restaurant in Limoges

This is our Friday lunchtime haunt whenever we are in France. If you like a really good meal (Friday is Steak & Chips day) this is the place to visit. The quality is excellent & cooked to perfection. The service is first class and you get a very warm welcome. 3 Course Lunchtime Special, wine & coffee 15€ Exceptional value for money without a doubt. We highly recommend it.

June 2019 and we have returned to France. The weather is abysmal, but the warm welcome & the great service definitely cheers us up! The California is a really welcoming bar/restaurant with excellent food , a good range of drinks - including Guinness - very reasonably priced and a great mix of French and English regular customers.
