Le Patio — Restaurant in Lisieux

Just visited this restaurant - the food / service was outstanding. Visiting France from the UK and was looking for a restaurant that would meet my whole family's needs, this went above and beyond.

The food was made fresh and was extremely tasty, you could see the chef kneeding the dough was that fresh.

We will most definitely want to return.

I had the Pizza and shared it with my daughter and my son / husband had a slice too as it was so big.

My husband had Salmon tagliatelle My son had tagliatelle Carbonara these both tasted extremely fresh and had so much flavour..

We finished off with some Ice cream and these were delicious.

The staff also brought out some water and bread (such a nice addition) and a little chocolate for the children. Which was appreciated from them.

One star because I hate when people are lying. I’ve ordered bruschetta caprese where it supposed to be tomatoes with basil and grilled cheese on bread. Which was mentioned in menu. The taste was bland and there was no basil at all. No leafs and no taste. We asked the waiter and she first told that there not supposed to be basil, we told it’s written in the menu (and it’s an essential ingredient of caprese)and then she said the basil was with the oil on the bread which was a lie. I would leave better review if the waitress would say the truth and would sorry, I can understand if they were out of basil this day, but no. I would not...

We had a very lovely lunch here on the last day of our holiday. The lovely young waitress who served us was extremely helpful and spoke English. She helped my wife & I with some vegan options and we both ended up with a grilled vegetable bruschetta which was delicious. My Mum had the Le Patio salad, and our 2 girls a pizza and the 4 cheese pasta, which was also very good. All in all it was a lovely lunch in pleasant surroundings and very helpful staff. Would...
