Staying locally overnight, on our way back to the U.K. from Spain. Quite a few restaurants to choose from in Caylar but the reviews for this burger restaurant were very good and it turns out they are extremely well deserved. Owned and run by a lovely couple that speak perfect English, are well travelled and experienced in high end culinary restaurants/service; true professionals, passionate about food, flavour, service, …and to our delight, dogs too. If they are full and you have a dog, they will try to fit you in! Our vizsla received a heartfelt welcome and fuss, for which we are truly grateful. If only more restaurants in the U.K. were so dog-friendly! The menu is all homemade and although our occasion was very casual, i would have been happy if it were a birthday treat! I’m not a vegetarian but the onion bhaji based “veggie” burger is amazing. My husband had the “Larzac” blue cheese burger which was equally fantastic. We weren’t planning on having dessert, but you can’t not. Flavour...

I took it back to the kitchen and the chef said he would do another, but even this when it came though without sauce etc was still pink in parts. When I cook burgers or steaks (I like my meat rare) I find it's sometimes hard not to cook them right through! The other three burgers were 'OK' but nothing special and rather expensive for...
Read moreTruly a very good place to eat the best artisanal burgers! Everything here is local and made with love. We ordered the classic burger and the butchers choice piece of meat, story says that a client came in and asked the butcher for the best part of the cow, apparently a piece of the upper hip, its very tender and has a good taste. So good i had to fight off the fork from my daughter!!
Back to the Berger&Burger, it is open to dogs, they love them :) You have enough room and the tables are set up nice and roomy. The people that work there are very nice and english is not a problem for our host.
Then if you order drinks, ask for the homebrew kombucha, its fermented Tea, very refreshing and good taste.
So if need to have a lunch or dinner, charge your Tesla, make sure to give...
