A wonderful escape near the centre of Auray! The decoration is well balanced between cozy and contemporary. Aesthetics are important here, and this is reflected in the dishes as well. All are beautifully presented, unfortunately what looks appetising is missing the substance of flavors and a few touches that just miss creating a well balanced dish; this made me wonder if the chef really tasted what was sent out. I would love to give this place a 5* rating because the staff were super lovely and we were very happy there, if only the flavours of most of the dishes we had matched the Aesthetics on the plate as well as the decor, I'm sure this place would be impossible to reserve. Maybe it was a bad day, but I will try to visit again, because everyone deserves another chance especially when so much work and heart is out...

1 week after the fact, I still feel both extremely lucky and somehow privileged to have found out about this gem of a restaurant in its early days, before it becomes, I am sure, Auray's main touristic attraction. From their newly built kitchen, Anne-Laure and Gonzague kept surprising us the whole evening, first offering a wide array of creative and lightweight appetizers, then moving on to perfectly balanced main courses, before ending on subtle and original sweet notes for dessert. We tried both fish and beef, and each came with stunningly presented and wisely handpicked seasonal accompaniments. I will make a point of coming back there before the Michelin stars, and will surely be a regular by the time they are granted to Le Casier too! Thanks again for that amazing...

Un trésor caché au cœur d’Auray Quelle découverte incroyable ! Ce restaurant, discrètement niché au centre de la ville, est une véritable pépite. L’accueil y est tout simplement exceptionnel : chaleureux, attentionné, sincère. Dès l’entrée, on sent qu’on va vivre une expérience unique.

Le lieu est magnifique, élégant sans être prétentieux, avec une atmosphère apaisante propice à l’évasion. Et que dire de la cuisine… Un véritable feu d’artifice d’umami du début à la fin. Ayant beaucoup voyagé en Asie et étant une grande passionnée de gastronomie asiatique, je peux dire que je ne me suis jamais autant régalée en dehors du continent. Un équilibre parfait entre raffinement, puissance des saveurs, et maîtrise des textures.

Pour ma part : 👉 L’entrée, une aubergine panée au panko accompagnée de variations de poivrons, était tout simplement délicieuse – croustillante, fondante, pleine de subtilité. 👉 Le plat, une poitrine fondante, a été une véritable claque gustative : une douceur maîtrisée, un jus corsé plein de caractère, des condiments parfaitement choisis… Un contraste riche et harmonieux qui m’a bluffée. 👉 Le dessert, enfin, avec son biscuit madeleine et citron iranien confit, apportait une touche de fraîcheur idéale pour clore cette ascension gustative en beauté.

Mention très spéciale pour le chef de salle, d’une élégance et d’un professionnalisme remarquables, qui a su accompagner cette expérience avec justesse et générosité.
