I went there for lunch today, a little unsure about what the quality of the food would be given reviews of the offerings in the restaurants in the sector. I was right to not have been too hopeful... The best thing about the place is the location. And our main waiter was very attentive and efficient. BUT, be careful if you ask for a table by the Saone on their outside terrace... Unless it is made extremely clear when you book that a table right on the Saone side is reserved, you could end up anywhere on the terrace, and they'll say that you've got what you asked for... As far as the food is concerned, the 'friture' (whitebait) was okay. Next, I had the meat of the day which was entrecote. The meat was very good and very well cooked, but the presentation and accompaniments very poor. A few sliced carrots were hidden away under the entrecote, so the plate looked as if there was only the meat, and there was no 'jus' or flavoursome sauce, even decoratively, on the plate... very surpising. (a bowl of mashed potato was served separately). My greatest criticism however is with the VERY small, expensive, and very badly-made tiramisu... It had quite a lot of coffee leaking out of it to begin, and then it seemed to mainly be made up of crushed biscuits (speculoos or similar) and rather bland cream... I came all the way from Latin America to try the French cuisine. Iâm very sad to express the huge disappointment I have felt for this place. The owner was extremely disrespectful and racist, the food was cold and soggy.
WORSE OF ALL I saw a waiter put back food that fell on the floor into a customer plate!
The view was nice and the student that the owner is exploiting are also nice.
If I was French and had the number (if someone wants to let me know, please do) I would call hygiene and worker protection services.
Last but not least Iâm sure the food is not fresh and is the big iced bags from the cheap supermarket.

AprĂšs 45 minutes dâattente aprĂšs la prise de commande, on nous annonce quâil nây a plus de fromage blanc. Il est 15h. Nous avons un enfant de 4 ans qui sâimpatiente. Câest agaçant, vraiment. Les cafĂ©s sont ensuite arrivĂ©s avant les desserts. Je ne rendrai pas public la maniĂšre dont la responsable de salle a gĂ©rĂ© la situation car lâidĂ©e nâest pas de causer du tort. Dans notre cas, un simple « vous avez raison, nous avons mal gĂ©rĂ© et nous nous retrouvons maintenant en rupture de fromage blanc, je vous prie de nous en excuser et je vous propose de choisir un dessert de la carte sans supplĂ©ment pour vous remercier pour votre patience » aurait probablement suffi pour dĂ©samorcer la situation, qui nâĂ©tait agrĂ©able ni pour vous, ni pour nous.
