Ninkasi Sans Souci — Restaurant in Lyon

Very nice staff and attentive. Food was good. Prices not terrible.

I ate here two times.

First time had a salad with smoked salmon, steak fries and a small Coca Cola for €17. (Should have done without the fries. Would have cut 3€ and I was just afraid there wasn’t going to be enough food, but the salads would have been fine by itself)

Second meal was a burger with steak fries and a 500ml blonde...

En week-end sur Lyon, nous étions une petite dizaine à chercher un restaurant à burger ouvert le 1er Mai aux alentours de 13h dans des rues désertes. On est tombé sur ce restaurant Ninkasi avec le manager qui nous a accueilli à bras ouvert. Il nous a ouvert l'étage de son restaurant exprès pour nous. La carte est variée tant sur les burgers que sur les bières artisanales. Pour ma part, j'ai pris un Highway To Ale (burger classique avec sauce BBQ mais très bien exécuté avec de bons ingrédients) avec une sauce cheddar pour les frites à tester. J'ai pris un pichet de la bière Ninkasi de Printemps, frais et fleural. Pour terminer, un dessert glacé avec un cookie (I am with love with the cookie) sympathique. On en redemande (dedicase à celui à commandé trois burgers Pork N'Roll en top 1). Au delà de l'accueil, le service proposé est très bon, des serveurs aimables et sympas. Une belle décoration avec une playlist musicale efficace. Le manager nous a même offert une tournée de shot pour finir ce dimanche férié en beauté. A y retourner...

Was actually headed to Café Berlin next door, as I'd read good things. But I'm glad it was closed. This place was a great find. At least IMHO. Had a vegi salad with falafel, plus one of the house IPAs. Then sneaked in a quick Moscow Mule before checking out. Enjoyed all that, plus the music/ambience. Seems like a popular place and I can...
