Brasserie La Strada — Restaurant in Marseille

This was the rudest waitress I have ever encountered in my life. Monday morning , we sit on the terrace that was relatively empty. The waitress comes, “WHAT DO YOU WANT?!” I kindly ask if they have some menus. She coldly and shortly replies NON. Okay, no menus. So I ask her if they have milkshakes? She impatiently replies NON. So I ask her what they have and she rolls her eyes. My table, feeling VERY uncomfortable, starts ordering coffee and sodas. When she goes back inside we decide that we will drink what we ordered, pay and leave this unfriendly place. I haven’t even stirred the sugar into my coffee when the red headed grinch returns, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO EAT?! I stay very polite and tell her that we will not be eating. She completely LOSES her temper, tells us that we should’ve told her from the beginning, that the table that we’re sitting on is a “eating table” and that we should just pay and leave. She then proceeds to aggressively take the water from our table. She comes back, smacks the bill on the table and repeats that we...

Rarely do I write bad reviews, but this place had to get it. The waiter was nice, and the atmosphere was good, but the food was absolutely terrible.

I had the Veal, which was extremely overcooked. So chewy, almost like chewing gum. Tasted like a bad frozen meal. It also had a funny taste when eating it, which I ignored cause I was very hungry. Next day I'm having terrible stomach issues. Almost certain it was because of this meal.

I get that the scenery is the winning point here, but the food needs to be up to par.

In conclusion: would never eat here again because of the terrible...

J'avais pourtant l'habitude de venir l'été dernier et je ne me souviens pas avoir eu un service pareil. On est venus avec mon ami pour boire un verre aux alentours de 16h, après la plage, soleil de plomb. On commande 2 boissons, et on demande une carafe d'eau en plus (bah oui... en plein juillet on a soif!) Laquelle nous a été refusé car l'après-midi c'est "brasserie". Les carafes sont réservées à la restauration. Sauf qu'à 16h on allait pas manger..... Bref du coup, obligés d'acheter une Vittel 20cl à 3,60euros..... haha La serveuse, qui semblait saoulée de ce qu'on essayait de lui expliquer, a finalement appelé le patron, tout aussi antipathique, pas commerçant du tout. Si je peux me permettre, ce n'est pas en traitant les clients comme ça qu'ils auront envie de revenir, ou de commander un 2me verre.... Bref, conseil: prenez un Ricard pour avoir une carafe d'eau...
