L'Oyster Bar — Restaurant in Marseille

Incredible seafood bar found along the coast of La Coitat! Owner of the restaurant (did not manage to get her name) was welcoming and took the time to explain to us in English of where the oysters were from! Definitely try their specialities (gratine seafood - particularly tasty mussels), fresh mussels, premium prawns, and of course, their oysters! 10/10 would come back again!

The most stunning food in the most stunning location! We were guided by our waitress, Tiphiane (who speaks the most perfect French and English) with our order and enjoyed every bite. We started with 6 oysters (2x3 different types) and we then followed with a mixed platter of crab, prawns and sea snails. We drank wine by the glass which was well priced and complimented the seafood beautifully. Can’t wait to come...

I came here for the fresh regional oysters and seafood, which I found in succulent abundance, for great value. What I also found was a place where one can feel welcome and taken care of. The owners will make sure you have everything you want or need. But you will also feel the pride and see the hard work they put into making this a place you can relax and enjoy fine food and time with friends and family....
