La Loco — Restaurant in Marseille

Located just a short walk from the Cassis train station, this restaurant offers a welcome escape from the touristy areas, with the added bonus of easy parking 🚗.

We absolutely loved the pizza with anchovies 🍕 and the spaghetti vongole 🍝. However, the calamari with garlic and cherry tomatoes 🍅 fell short of expectations. The battered calamari came with an excessive amount of potatoes 🥔 and was overly oily, making it inedible for me.

This meal almost brought me to tears, it was so good. At the end of an amazing day at the Calanques, we decided to look for a decent restaurant outside the city centre, and this one fit the bill! The fish was incredible! The dessert (tiramisu) was even better!!! Outdoor seating with a beautiful view is a bonus. The owner and his family are so warm and welcoming, I really felt at home. Une catastrophe. Nous y sommes allés sur les conseils d'amis, mais quelle déception ! Le service était déplorable, la serveuse, très impolie, passait son temps à crier. L'attente était très longue. Les plats étaient insipides. Aucune proposition de vins. À notre demande, la serveuse nous propose deux marques de vins(40€ la moins chère). La glace à la vanille de mon fils avait un goût d'eau, je l'ai mentionné à la serveuse qui m'a dit que c'était impossible (forcément, je mens...) Le restaurant n'est pas propre.
