La cuisine de Bubba — Restaurant in Mayenne

I visited Bubbas whilst on holiday with my parents and boyfriend. We have a great time. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. We started off with the charcuterie board, which was beautifully presented and very tasty! We got some garlic bread to accompany it and they easily served all 4 of us for a starter. We then all had pizzas; there was plenty of variety and all of the pizzas arrived in a timely fashion. All of the pizzas were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We even saved some to take home. Great little pizza place a few metres from the main drag through Gorron.

Pizzas made from scratch and fired in a proper wood burning oven are first rate with all the traditional and a few house specials.

The chicken kebab is worthy of a special mention as rather than being in pitta bread, a pizza base is cooked blank until it 'pops' and is then shaped into a pocket. Looked and tasted delicious.

We rounded it off with the homemade lemon cheese cake - light and full of flavour.

We've lived in France within 30km of Gorron for 20 years and never been here. Thought it was takeaway only until recently. Read the reviews and thought how can all of these people be wrong? And they're not. Excellent all round. Hostess and host superb with brilliant customer service and being very keen to ensure the customers have a great experience.
