Le Boeuf Sur La Place — Restaurant in Mirande

Terrific restaurant - ate here twice and each time it was busy. Food was great, we were lucky to eat delicious moules et frites the night of the Belgium game (the current menu cancelled in their honour - nice touch.) Staff and hosts are friendly and attentive and our waitress, Lonnike was outstanding. She dealt with so many customers in at least three different languages, patiently translating menus for each. Her service was always delivered with a smile. Whatever you're paying her, it's probably not enough! Great client-facing skills, she's must be real asset to the restaurant. Bravo...

Overlooking a typical French market square, you easily find this charming place because of the laughter of the people sitting on the terrace. Whether it's for a drink or a bite, this place is good for both. Good meat with home made sauce, very nicely prepared. Would recommend if you're around! I will come back for that steak...

Fascinant. 96€ à 4 personnes pendant le festival, avec 1 plat et 1 boisson chacun... Restaurant qui se targue d'être ouvert à l'année(autocollant sur la vitrine), donc on contribue à faire fonctionner le commerce local. "Salade asiatique" en plat principal à 16€ : 4 crevettes tempura (surgelées ?) sur littéralement 5 feuilles de salade, 10 carrés de courgettes et un semblant de sauce soja ? Où est la caméra cachée ? Un planteur dans un mini verre à... 8 euros ! Un sentiment vraiment hyper désagréable de s'être fait prendre pour de bons gros pigeons. Le service était correct sans plus. Pas d'ambiance particulière. Et pour finir, je ne sais pas si c'était la fameuse "salade asiatique", mais mon amie l'a ressortie telle quelle en début de nuit... Bref, c'est dommage, on vient à Marciac tous les ans. Dommage pour les commercants locaux, mais on reviendra sur nos food...
