We were a party of three and two of us ordered the four course menu and the other ordered an entrée and a main.

For the course menu (with wine pairing): The pre-course appetizer was great. A tomatoe puree, melon balls, and a fish tartare (I belive that's what it was) were all great and had a nice unique flavor that really got your palate wet.

The starter was very nice. The flavor of the fish used was nice and pronounced and the accompanying sauce really added an additional element to the dish. The fish was tender and the sauces really balanced well with the fish.

Next was the fish. The fish itself was great, a solid flavored fish with a texture that really blended well with the other ingredients. The artichoke cannelloni was amazing and for me, really made the dish stand out.

The main (meat) was French-milk fed veal with accompanying vegetables. The veal itself had a good, non-gamey flavor. For us, it was a bit too chew. Most veal is tender and soft enough that we can cut it easily with a butter knife. This veal took a bit of effort to cut through and chew. The flavor was there, but the texture was off from what we are used too.

The apricot baba was quite nice and a great way to close out the meal. Definitely on the sweeter side, but not so much that is was a turn-off.

The after dinner snacks were a nice finishing touch to the evening. The wine pairing with the meal was spot on and each wine really went well with the dishes they were served with.

One dish (not pictured) was their Bouchee which for everyone at the table, thought was the best dish of the evening. It appears to be a signature dish and for good reason. If you aren't a big eater, or don't find the course appealing, then you can't really go wrong with their Bouchee.

Overall, we enjoyed our evening and meal here. While we did get off to a bumpy start with the staff (our lack of French didn't help) we were able to get our food ordered and enjoyed the...

We were in this restaurant many years ago and had an extraordinary overall experience. Since a special celebration has come up, we thought it might be an excellent idea to return with our friends and to enjoy a culinary sensation. The restaurant was very well booked and busy, and right from the start, we felt that the service was very mechanical and rushed. We were still zipping champagne in the lobby when the service staff had already served us the amuse gueule. Once at the dining table in the restaurant, starters were served while two guests were still missing. We felt the service was unaccommodating, given that this is a Michelin-starred restaurant. The water and wine service was very slow, and we always thought we would burden the staff while asking for anything. Unfortunately, we did not like the dessert, and we asked if we could order cheese, which was not possible. Overall, we felt...

we had a wonderful time at Le Cerf. Spécial thanks to the chef for accommodating for my gluten free diet. Kudos to the team for the loose leaf Darjeeling, properly brewed, that is so rare at a French restaurant. Great teamwork is clearly a result of the whole family working together in unison to create a lovely atmosphere where guests feel special, very well looked after and so very comfortable. well done and see you very soon, we hope, for more surprising explosions...

As a 1-star Micheline restaurant, Le Cerf was a worthy choice at region Alsace. A warm welcoming with a classy cocktail and starter. The special night menu were really surprising, delicious and never-ending dishes of chef choices. Cheese desert dish was really a wow, never tasted before. Wine menu is rich of local ones. All in one place with wonderful ambiance; traditional and warm.

Definitivamente, deseo regresar.
