As the title says, it's okay for a night! We stayed here on route to Perigueux. The room is of an adequate size, but that's about it! The bed was stiff and small, the pillows a little hard, the bed covers inadequate, but very clean. The room furniture and decor was very old, the bathroom door didn't close, and the wardrobe was in the hallway! But, this is a very old building and if it had been the summer, it would have given that old French feel to the place. Paid top whack for a room that had peeling wallpaper, a moldy bathroom & such poor soundproofing that we could hear the people next door using the toilet. Last decorated around 1970, bed so soft we both ended up in the dip in the middle. The lesson is don't arrive at a grotty hotel too tired to move on. My son & his girlfriend also stayed & had to move rooms 3 times until they got something bearable. Dinner was incredibly overpriced, tasted ok but tiny portions.
