Accompanied by three spirited young ladies, we had arranged an appointment at the escape room located directly across the street. Moments before the adventure commenced, the young ones expressed a most urgent hunger, and so we sought a brief but satisfying reprieve at Bol Bun & Bubble.

Pressed for time, our party of seven ordered merely three starters, yet the gracious proprietress provided us with seven full place settings and glasses of water without the slightest hint of reproach. Her warm hospitality and gentle demeanour put us entirely at ease, despite our own sense of awkwardness.

In mere minutes, five, to be precise, we partook of a delightful sampling: the spring rolls and fried chicken were exquisitely prepared, flavourful and perfectly crisp. It is a great regret that we were unable to linger, for the dishes served to other guests appeared most enticing indeed.

Alas, the moment was so fleeting and our departure so hasty, we quite forgot to capture any photographs. Nevertheless, this brief visit left a lasting impression of generosity and culinary promise. Were circumstances more leisurely, we should most certainly have stayed for a full and...

Visited in September 2024. We were 7 people, we walked in after seeing the great rating and we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get a table on a Thursday evening. We tried different starters and main dishes, I had the pho, which was great. The portions were generous and I believe everyone was happy with the food. We did not try bubble tea, there are other good drinks options such as ramune (Japanese soda) or Asian beers. The staff was nice and friendly and the place was clean and tidy. Overall, I was quite happy with the visit and I'd come...

I wish I can give more than 5 stars for this restaurant. As a Vietnamese living abroad, I usually looked for Vietnamese foods as my comfort meals when travelling away from home. I found this gem while walking around the city centre and I had the Best meal ever: The rice was cooked just right like home while the lemongrass beef was full of flavors. In the cold weather, the restaurant owner (Ms Ava) was also very kind and offered me a cup of hot green tea. It was an absolutely sweet home-away-from-home experience. Strongly recommended this...

I’ll review this restaurant from my perspective as an Asian. To be honest, the Pho took quite a while to arrive. The Bun Bo had very little meat, and the Milk Tea had way too much milk—I could barely taste the tea. Since I saw many people ordering Pho, I decided to try it, but the broth was pretty salty 🥲—I could even taste the seasoning powder. The beef was tender, but there was way too much veggies. The beef balls were chewy, even kinda tough. The ambiance was nice, though. Final verdict: Foreigners might find it okay, but for Asians… 🫥🫥
