New new new restaurant - change hands to a young, adventurous and innovative Chef Lionel and his wife Cécile. Only 5 tables - Microrestaurant concept - you will be served by the Chef himself - a great touch of personalisation and attention for detail. Lionel is passionate for Organic, Bio and local ingredients. The three course meal was very nice, creative and tasty. There is not wine list! The Chef is also your sommelier - He lists a few great Biodynamic and natural wines from Alsace and France. The value for money is also adequate, you will not break the bank (specially if you are used to pay Basel prices, this is a bargain). A real gem to discover! From our welcome to our departure, Lionel and Cecile were incredibly accommodating and charming. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and spacious. The meal was quite the experience. Lionel guides you from beginning to end. He takes the time to explain and chat about everything (including wine — excellent recommendations!) all while taking care of the other tables around. The food was excellent, with interesting flavor combinations on the dish to keep you curious for the next one.

We were impressed that Lionel managed to juggle host, waiter, sommelier and chef duties seemlessly.
