TRACK Blotzheim — Restaurant in Mulhouse

The Restaurant is situated on a "food strip" between two other restaurants. There are enough parking spots in front of the location. The opening was relatively late at 19:00 and we walked in with them opening the doors. There is a huge fire place in the dining area and they must have opened the hatch to it, maybe to add wood, right before we entered as there was a lot of smoke in the room. It took about 20-30 minutes until the air handling system was able to exchange it to a normal state. The card was unfortunately only available in French language, but with Google lens we could get an idea of the offered meals and drinks. The selection was rather limited, but that's not necessarily a minus point. The prices were reasonable and the waitresses were courteous. One struggled with English as we did with French but the other could help and take the order. The waiting time for the food was normal and ok. We had Bruschetta as starters and were a bit surprised by the way they interpreted it. However, it tasted good. Two of us had Cordon Bleu and again we were a bit surprised by the arrangement as it looked more like a meat roll when delivered. However, the taste was again good and the portion had a decent size. One had the Wok / curry dish from the card but that wasn't really "a burner". Mainly noodles with sauce that was okayish, but I missed some more fresh and crispy vegetables as it should be characteristic for a Wok meal.... At least from my point of view. Will never be coming back. Had a terrible experience.

We waited 1 hour for our food. Everyone else, even the ones that came 45 minutes after us got their food..

I ordered bruschetta as I saw it on their website. When it came in… it was bread with tomato sauce, melted cheese and some ham. That is not a bruschetta. And doesn’t at all look like the pic on their website.

So when we got the bruschetta that more looked like a pizza we just left. We only paid for our drinks.. lemonade that tasted like sprite with sparkling water. They couldn’t even be kind enough to give us that for free because of all the chaos.

When we told them about the wait and that everyone else have gotten their food they said “it’s chaos in the kitchen, we lost your order” if that happens… tell the customer, don’t let them wait 1 hour without knowing anything…

It was a bit of a disappointing experience. I ordered a rare steak but it was on one side slightly burned. My coworker had a burger and according to him it was great. The so called "bruschetta" is well, not what I call bruschetta. More like some kind of Pizza. And someone please tell the waitress to keep a bit more attention to the guests. Not only us, also others had to wave and speak up multiple times to get her attention.

Nevertheless, we went there again because there is not much else around. But that time they only had a few items on the menu because the staff was in vacation?! That's one way to loose customers... But I have to say the burger I ate was indeed great.

Bottom line: in this price category I think you can expect...
