2017: A good location, helpful staff and reasonably priced. Had Moules et Frites, the Moules were good but the chips were from a packet. Update 2018: They must have read my review because this year I've had some excellent dinning here. One of my party had chips and they were proper hand cut chips. I had the Big Wok dish, which was very tasty. Then, more recently, we had Tapas which was superb. Update 2019: Going from strength to strength, just had a delicious lunch here, Salade de Chevre, balls of goat's cheese deep fried in a panko crumb, with a mixed leaf salade and Parma ham, it was sensational, only thing I'd fault was the bowl it was served in, it was a bit tippy. Update 2022: Things have most definitely gone in the wrong direction since my last visit. There was a lot wrong with our dinning experience, but rather than list all of the various issues I highlight just one; one of our party ordered Moules et Frites and was dismayed to find that half of the muscles were cold and half warm, not a good sign as it suggests that some of them had been leftovers from the lunchtime service. Greasy and limp French fries (France is famous for its French fries so it's hard to imagine serving bad French fries), the pasta was tasteless, the squid was cold, the squid has polarizing reviews, maybe it needs to be relied on Lucky to get freshly cooked squid, but despite that, the side dish of squid was too oily, chef admitted that it was his mistake to service cold squid. But the waitress lied because we didn't order dessert, she said my friend slapped her menu down, no one touched her and my friend just sit there said no, there is no point for a restaurant to lie to people and fight back in a review, there are other customers who had the same reaction in previous reviews problem, maybe the owner has difficulty accepting problems and improving this restaurant, salad was nice and first waiter was nice, you can’t please all of customers but at...

I have nothing but praise for this family run restaurant. Whenever I am in Beaucaire this is my 'must visit' venue.The Chef Patron Nico and his lovely wife Helene, are a great partnership.He is a magician in the kitchen and she, as the front of house,'face' of the restaurant, is simply superb,welcoming, cheerful and just delightful.The team is completed by the evey friendly, ever attentive, ever professional and ever helpful waiters, Christel and Romain.Nothing is too much trouble for them ( even coping with my rubbish schoolboy French 😅).The food is beautifully prepared and presented and is simply delicious.I have had most things on the menu and have never been disappointed.I highly recommend you check out this wonderful...
