Based on the great reviews we went along expecting a lovely authentic French experience. Instead we received a cold reception from a reluctant American woman who it seemed didn't really want to serve anyone which made the experience unpleasant. I am guessing the ice queen is the owner as she treated her guests as intruders. The portions were small and over expensive. A must-stop if you are looking for some quality refreshment. La Grange is a lovingly restored old barn in the charming village of Vers Pont du Gard with two brothers as owners. Stop for a perfect espresso or coffee, local wine or even a craft-brewed beer. And some delicious food prepared in the kitchen (including a stone pizza oven!) to go with it. We spent a very enjoyable evening, the staff were very friendly and helpful. A range of pizzas are available, we shared a super fungi one and it was delicious. There is an extensive range of drinks available and a cocktail menu. The place is very popular and soon all the tables were occupied creating a great atmosphere for the evening.
