AMAZING food 🙏 The best Vietnamese food I have ever tasted. The food caresses your tongue with delicate spices, the aroma is heavenly and the food is just out of this world. The vegetables are cooked to perfection (as is the rice and the rest of the meal). We had nem and spring rolls for starters - just sensational. For mains we had sweet and sour prawns and beef with lemongrass. Oh la la 😋 We also tried the ginger tea and coffee which are excellent. The service is fast and very attentive and the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Prices are very reasonable and price/performance top notch 👍 We simply couldn’t eat another morsel after this feast. Stew Cook doesn’t serve alcohol, but you can have a pint around the corner if that’s what you’re looking for. Also, remember to bring cash as CB / credit cards are not accepted. The owners are so sincerely nice and it is clear that they put their hearts into the excellent food that they prepare.

I really appreciate the fresh and high quality ingredients that are skillfully (and deliciously 😋) prepared - rich and subtle and complex - actually this makes me think of those small humble restaurants that get Michelin stars! 🤩

Went here for Dinner on a Tuesday at 7:30pm and it was easy to get a table. The owner was super friendly and caring. He‘d double-check with pictures, if the options I ordered from the (french only) menu were indeed what I wanted. Spring rolls with beef and shrimps were very fresh and tasty - the beef was still a bit warm (definitely not pre-rolled). The Pho Bo was excellent.
