This is a great quirky tiny cafe overlooking the canal du midi and countryside by the bridge at Paraza. The owner is a lovely young French woman who does the food preparation herself. This is not a full restaurant but you and children can eat very well here. There are various salads, croque monsieur as well as burgers, chips etc. What makes it special is the attention to detail in the food preparation and freshness of the food with subtle additions of herbs and fruit to salad for example. She is the life and soul of this pleasant canal-side eatery, and was comfortably attentive throughout the meal, always happy to provide explanations of the dishes and wines. The food? Not to be missed! Cathy is rightly proud of her grandmother’s influence in the dishes, sauces, and cakes she offers. Read moreDiabolical. Four people, 165 Euros I had to have a sandwich post meal. Monk fish, and every other main, was served with vine tomatoes and a microscopic amount of veg. I'll not neglect to mention the fancy foam! Zero carbohydrates - utter nonsense "we don't have a frier".....so how about dauphinoise, roast, mashed.....you said it was Mediterranean apparently....so throw some patatas bravas at the very least.
