La Closerie — Restaurant in Narbonne

We went for dinner at 8:30 pm on Tuesday and many tables were empty. We asked for a table for two and they offered a small table very closed to other customers, so we asked for a bigger table with more privacy. The answer with any empathy’s was “no, because these tables are for more than 2 people”. It was 20:30, so it was very unlikely that all the empty tables would be booked. As expected, the final result was that all the empty tables stayed empty (except one for two people) and we had dinner in a table which was not agreeable. When we go to a restaurant it is not only the food, it is the whole experience: service, decoration, ambience… and of course the food. We had been in the restaurant with the previous owners and the ambience and decoration was much better, but in any case our customer experience was bad, so we will not come again. It is a pitty because we used to like...

We were a little disappointed when we entered the beautiful courtyard, only to be then be seated inside the restaurant, which was definitely less cozy. Nonetheless, my wife and I found the food to be absoletely amazing. We started with some Moules en Aïoli and grilled chorizo, both were divine. We had simmenthaler entrecote as our main and finished of with a delicious tiramisu. We would definitely recommend La Closerie, but would probably book a table in the courtyard next...

Très déçue des prestations de ce restaurant Service très long, arrivée en couple à 20h45 ressortie 3 heures plus tard en laissant les assiettes de plats sur la table (plus d'une demi-heure que l'on attendait que l'on vienne nous débarrasser et voir pour le dessert!) Au départ deux bières pression tièdes, une entrée partagée, là rien à redire, une entrecôte idem, même si la garniture est vraiment très légère, mon mari à pris une daurade, là grosse déception, vraiment trop cuite (presque une bouillie !), un vin de région car malheureusement pas le choix À la finale une note salée pour ne pas s'y être vraiment régalé (80€) Pour moi à fuir Un restaurant pas à la hauteur de ses prétentions avec un tel prix (vulgaires petites serviettes en papier, coin de table cassé (donc pas très agréable pour les bras), pas même une serviette avec le seau à vin... Je conseille vivement aux patrons, soit de prendre moins de clients ou alors d'embaucher!!! Une personne qui aime bien manger sans regarder spécialement au prix quand cela en vaut la peine...
