Mamamouchi — Restaurant in Narbonne

Ok, so lovely setting and the various levels provide great views as your home on the coast.

The food is ok, even nice at times but also desperately bad at others, for example, the razor clams delicious, the board of cold cuts and pate were great, well once the bread finally arrived, which was dry and average at best great. The Tatiki tuna was nice, if not steeply priced. The filet of chicken burger was nothing short of awful, minced with way way too much cumin and served in a pink coloured bun? There us plenty on the menu to be enjoyed but a few things to be avoided. The porc Rameng (Ramen) was an absolute fail. It was not even close to a ramen, but a heavy beefy stock with celery. Are luck was out when ordering. And I'm sure looking at other dishes being served I'm sure there is plenty to be enjoyed but it has to be said directly, the serving was poor boarding dreadful, I dint wnst o be ignored or feel like I'm out if order asking for a glass or my wine to to opened, or the bread or water or anything other obvious thing that should be provided without question.

The on sight watersports: windsurfing, paddle boarding, canoeing were great fun and the team the absolute opposite if the restaurant serve experience.

Would I go back? For a drink, yes, for meal, unlikely, which is a shame as it could have been a great experience. I wouldnt say stay away, with bit of luck and a thick skin you might have a cracking time... as bar...

The day we visited it was super windy. Despite reservation they gave us the worst table you could think of. We sat outside on the edge without any wind protection so that you rather had to focus on protecting your drinks and meals than enjoying it. Normally you would expect a specific table to be reserved for you and not be seated anywhere a table is currently available. The food was okay but unfortunately heavily overpriced. At least the service was friendly and accommodating. They gave us blankets and after asking several times, they moved us to another table. Unfortunately this was at the time we had already...

We read the reviews before going, and many say the service is slow. Well tonight (a Sunday) it was busy and the service was really very fast. Our food arrived super quick and was just as ordered. I gave 4 stars as although the service was quick it was not great as the greeter was not clear as to where we needed to go to get attacked from the restaurant. With a (very) pregnant wife we ended up walking up and down stairs trying to find a table. Not cool. But hey, once we got a table our order was taken and all was good again. Price was OK too - two meals with cade gourmand and just 1 beer was 55€. I...
