McDonald's — Restaurant in Narbonne

This is Sigean! I have lived here for 3 years , This is without question the poorest Mc.Do ever. The product is normally what you would expect and hope for, it is a Mc after all, when you eventually get it! But this branch seems to have some sort of malignancy , just updated to a Mc Cafe , I had hoped for an improvement, but no, dropped in for a breakfast Muffin deal for two, the staff, as per normal, too busy holding their own personal chats. I was the ONLY customer, out of 4, who was waiting! Took them 20 minutes, having forgotten my existance once, to get food, with a brush of apology from some big shot who was there to oversee the change over to Mc Cafe. I hate using this branch, always have, others in the area are great (Argeles, text book superb). Whilst I only use Mc Do's about once a week for a guaranteed product, I just wish my idyllic short drive through the vinyards wasnt always ruined by ineptitude. I remember, once, I asked for just an Breakfast Egg Mc Muffin and nothing else, and was served a muffin ( yes, an empty muffin!!!!!!!) . Problem with this branch is it is next to covergences/toll booths of motorway and major main roads, so it is very profitable. Maybe Mc Do' s assume its a showcase outlet? NO, its embarrassing for the brand. We love a cheeky McMuffin brunch on a Sunday morning, lazy, yummy treat. I normally would wiz out and pick them up whilst the girls are waiting are still in PJs, but NOT at this branch.

An inferior branch, always has been.

To me McDonalds is a safe haven of, wifi, warmth or cool, parking, clean toilets, consistant and known food and a very acceptable coffee. I do not use it very often, but I definately appreciate it. Sigean branch has, for at least the 5 years I have known it been a terrible ambassador for the brand. Slow inept service , and when I say slow I mean SLOW. Go to other outlets in the area you get what you expect, MCDonalds fast food, good food, super quick, expected quality. (ARGELES BRANCH WORTH TAKING A DETOUR TO!)

I could perhaps tell the tale of when I asked them for just an Egg McMuffin with no other extras ( ie. Coffee, orange juice, breakfast plan etc.) I recieved a warm sliced Muffin, yep! Update: Do not visit this restaurant. The new menu item (Frittes Quebecois) was grossly misrepresented. The fries were cold. The sauce was cold. With cheese on top. When we tried to talk to the Owner/Operator, he told us "if you don't like it, don't come." See picture attached for what was advertised vs. What was served.

I really hesitated for a long time before posting this review. We have visited many, many times. While the food is what you remember of McD's, the service and atmosphere aren't. The tables are often dirty, as is the entrance. The place isn't adequately staffed for service. Forget asking for extra pickles in Big Mac. You won't get it, even if you're willing to pay for it.
