La pizza au feu de bois — Restaurant in Nice

On our last night in France, we just wanted some really good pizza in our hotel, watching some Netflix. Did a bit of google map rec trawling and came across this place. Like the other reviews mentioned there’s a bit of a wait (we waited 20min), but it was well worth it.

We got the aubergine and the Hawaiian and both were so damn good. Like crust was perfect, oil and ingredients fresh and generous, and very reasonably priced for this quality, at 11 eur and 12 eur respectively.

The two guys behind the counter and working the oven were also extremely nice and even apologetic for the wait (why?? They were just coping as best they could wjth service in the face of overwhelming demand!). Highly suggest a visit if you’re looking to take out some...

We were so looking forward to trying this pizza place....the line/wait was quite long. After a long and amazing day of travel and fun, we didn't want to wait about. So, we decided to skip it. The man at the counter said that they deliver for free...that sealed the deal!! We ordered and went back to our hotel. OMG this pizza was absolutely 💯 delicious..and typically I am not a fan of pizza. I often find it smells so delicious by never tastes like it smells it aught to. This one did. AMAZING. It does not require glitz and gold to be a 5 star - taste, authenticity, service, care, freshness - this pizza place...

If you ever travel to Nice in France and fancy a takeaway pizza, then this is the place to go. One of the best chorizo topping pizza I have had. Freshly made in your presence with fresh ingredients. It was so busy I had too wait 25mins for my order. They do delivery to your hotel but waiting times for delivery was an hour. They also take card payments. Overall a very good food and takeaway experience. Oh, and one of the pizza chefs...
