Pizzeria Les Bains Douches — Restaurant in Nontron

What a coincidence that two five star reviews should appear after my one star review...

Honestly, we had a pretty terrible experience (2016). I had a lasagna that I highly suspected of having been microwaved, and which consisted mainly of bechamel sauce and cheese. It was like a liquid cheese sauce in a bowl. My partner had an uncooked pizza that they did manage to burn on the edges, and it tasted like nothing. For dessert, we had a microwaved crepe that was cold in the middle and slightly warm on the sides. I don't believe for one second that this was a homemade crepe as it tasted like cardboard. This place is a great place to eat in Nontron and whilst they describe themselves as a pizzeria, there is a big selection to choose from on the menu. I had the Double Cheese Bacon burger and it was super good. Not salty and gross like in some restaurants. The other dishes around the table were all excellent. The girl serving our table was really amazing. She flies up and down the stairs with arms full of plates. It is a shame that the management expect one solo staff member to manage the entire restaurant. This led to a minor misunderstanding regarding our dessert order. Pitoyable !!! Et une étoile parce que je ne peux pas mettre moins ... Nous arrivons du sud (5h de route avec 2 enfants) et cherchons un petit resto ouvert ... Nous appelons et nous disons à la personne que nous pourrons être sur place dans les 20/25 min... (GPS en main!!!) On nous répond "Ok, pas de problème..." Une fois arrivé sur place, nous rappelons car nous ne trouvons pas le le restaurant qui se trouve à 1 min à pied de la où nous sommes... Et là, la sympathique personne au téléphone nous dit que nous ne sommes pas au bon endroit, qu'ils nous on attendu 10/15min au lieu de 20/25 min, qu'il est trop tard, que les cuisines sont en train de fermer et qu'elle a un personnel à faire tourner... Super !!! Tout est fermé dans les alentours... Nous allons donc nous coucher le ventre creux et furieux !!! Et même si on y mange peut-être bien, L'accueil téléphonique client : nul !!! Et quelle mauvaise foi !!! Pour sûr, on ne l'essaiera jamais... A bon...
