Honestly i don't know how the place is rated so high. First the service was horrible, then i asked for a caeser salad and the chicken was dried, there was pratically no sauce in the salad, blunt. Then i asked for the lamb shank cause it looked great in the photos and there it goes another complete dissapointment. The veggies were cooked previously and it looked like a mash more than anything else and the lamb shank was overcook and it tasted like its been waiting for too long to be eaten. Great French restaurant in Noumea city. La Chaumiere in the city centre serves good French cuisine- the 2 course dinner portion is big. Limited choice in the menu but the Duck is superb, while the Tuna is a tad too salty for me, but still delicious!
