Excellent location on a quaint quiet street by a small pedestrian bridge and with nice views of the town over the river. The drinks and pastries were excellent they even serve flat whites which were hard to find in Europe until recently. The decor and ambiance is very tastefully done in a modern style that wouldn’t be out of place in a major city.

J'ai ainsi goûté la cuisine de nombreux restaurants sur Oloron Sainte Marie, et c'est la raison pour laquelle j'affirme : La cuisine y est originale, renouvelée, raffinée... pour ainsi dire en un mot irreprochable, ou quasiment. On y déjeune très bien. Le rapport qualité prix est très correct. Le service chaleureux et rapide. Vraiment sur le podium des restaurants sur Oloron si ce n'est le meilleur. En lice avec la crêperie La Gogaille et le burger Le Barthou. C'est royal !

Et cerise sur le gâteau : il y a des prises électriques partout. Plus d’excuses pour ne pas être productif ! Bref, si vous cherchez un spot sympa pour chiller ou travailler, foncez. Café Jules, à très vite !

Je suis tombé ce matin sur le Café Jules et… gros coup de cœur ! La déco est juste canon, super cosy et pleine de charme. Franchement, on s’y sent direct à l’aise. En plus, la vue sur le gave ? Trop mignon, parfait pour se poser et profiter du moment. Le serveur m’a dit qu’il y avait le Wi-Fi (yes !), donc je vais clairement revenir bosser avec mon ordi. Et cerise sur le gâteau : il y a des prises électriques partout. Plus d’excuses pour ne pas être productif ! Bref, si vous cherchez un spot sympa pour chiller ou travailler, foncez. Café Jules, à très vite !

I’m giving one star for the location/view but other than that, I would not recommend visiting a cafe with a staff who can’t provide at least a fair service. Felt totally disrespected for not speaking French more than Bonjour...

Super café vue sur le gave d’Oloron, c’est exactement le lieu qu’il manquait à la rue Louis Barthou.

J’y vais régulièrement boire un café, ou deux ou trois… l’ambiance y est agréable, le personnel et le patron sympathique. Toujours une petite attention avec le café, ça fait plaisir.

Je n’y ai pas trop testé la cuisine, hormis pour la foire du 1er mai où ce fût le seul lieu où nous avons pu nous restaurer, un peu tardivement le midi avec un accueil agréable qui plus est.

Franchement un grand merci pour ce lieu qui redonne un nouveau souffle à cette rue !
