Le Vigny — Restaurant in Oloron-Sainte-Marie

Le Vigny was highly recommeded to me, and it did not disappoint. The pizza I selected was also called Le Vigny, and it was absolutely magnificent, with all toppings very fresh and in generous quantities. When I was unable to finish it, my friendly and efficient server cheerfully and carefully saw that it was wrapped up in a leak-proof package (which is important when it's going into a backpack!). If I'm ever in Oloron again, I'll happily return to Le Vigny! Fingers crossed that I'll pass...

Popped in for a couple of pizzas to take away. Had to wait 30 mins so we had a beer each. Waitress and chef both very nice and helpful. We had the Norwegian and Vegetarian and both were excellent and large enough for 2 big appetites. The dough was light with great flavour and the toppings were very generous and tasty. By the standard we experienced during our week long stay in Oloron, this restaruant fully deserves 5 stars. The pizzas are quite competent, with a properly risen dough. The menu was not limited to pizzas, and the other offerings are eclectic and tasty. The menu even includes a dozen desserts. A shame that the menu is only accessible at lunch, whereas at dinner only pizzas...
