Le Boeuf Canard — Restaurant in Périgueux

Going down the highway to Bordeaux and famished. It was right at noon. Knowing that the restaurants/rest stops on the highway are full of travellers at this hour, we decided to try this place out. We were able to find it cos it was right next to McDonald's. We were the first people for lunch and the experience was stupendous. Looking at an empty restaurant, we were skeptical but it was 1150, so we knew people were yet to arrive. The food was very good for a restaurant by the highway. The owners and the waiters were super nice to us. They speak English. Yay!! Best part, no need to wait in a humongous queue to the toilets. Not an expensive place. Revenu pour la 3 ou 4eme fois dans ce restau car bien situé et nourriture correcte mais j'avais des doutes concernant l'amabilité du patron , doutes levés ce jour. C'est un malotru mal poli ! Aujourd'hui coup de bourre : il refuse les gens qui n'ont pas réservé sans aucune politesse et les fou littéralement dehors! La machine à éditer les factures tombe en panne et il refuse de les faire à la main et on se fait meme engueuler ! Comme beaucoup de professionnels qui mangent au restau le midi j'aurai su qu'il ne voulait pas m'éditer de facture je ne serai pas venu manger ici! C'est dans la difficulté que l'on voit la vraie nature des gens : Ce patron est un pauvre type qui ne vous sourit en façade que car il voit en vous des € !
