We had the loveliest of evenings on our first night in Paris. After a long day travelling, we had Google guide us to this restaurant an half an hour from our hotel. It was certainly worth the walk. The young guy who was front of house gave us a warm welcome and then helped us with the menu and choosing our wines, ( which were excellent!) He had an excellent knowledge of the wines of France. He chatted to us during the evening which made for a very enjoyable, relaxed evening. Topped off with my husband having one of his favourite whiskys on the house. The chef obviously took a lot of care over the food and we would happily go back to this restaurant on our next visit to Paris and would recommend other people...

We were expecting great food from the reviews but were immensely disappointed.

The dishes were in general not seasoned properly. The potatoes with my duck confit were swimming in oil; it might be better to fry them crisp with duck fat instead of serving it boiled.

Fish was too salty and not of good quality (strong odor). The sides were also salty which did not help in balancing out the flavors of the fish. Veggie was dry and not prepared thoroughly.

Honestly quite confused as to what happened; did the chef walk out? Good luck to you whatever you may be...
