Domaine Mont-Riant — Restaurant in Pau

Fabulous chateau overlooking the Pau township. Stunning. Peaceful. We stayed for 4 nights, exploring Jurançon wines, the city of Pau and hiking around the lakes in the mountains. The apartment is well designed, clean and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped. The highlights are the views, the beautiful manor house/chateau, the restaurant Flaveurs food and hospitality. We had an amazing meal at the restaurant. We chose the 6 plates tasting menu which didn't disappoint, and we all left full. The wine choice was very good. The service was excellent, and we got to chat with the owners as well who were very accommodating of our dietary requirements. There is a beautiful view of Pau, it's in a lovely setting. We can’t believe our luck finding this place. We decided to book very last minute to break up a long drive as we had a baby not so happy in his car seat anymore.
