A good place to get a taste of Catalonia cuisine. We had a little trouble finding the place because the street didn't look like one. When you come through the tower arch, look for an opening to the right of the street you are heading and that should be the street (it looked like an alley to me). Walk in and it is the last restaurant. We started with the mussels (Moules gratinees a l'aioli). So delicious and cooked just right. Hubby had the lamb and I had the meatballs. The lamb was like a stew meat, very tender. The meatballs was immersed in a thick bean stew like mixture. They were lean yet moist. Both were good. My favorite, the dessert we selected, Montayna regalata. It was chocolate ice cream and goodies on the bottom of the cup with whipped cream on top. All served in a plain glass. It was light yet rich....

Super unfriendly. Went in on my own as soon as it opened for dinner time. The whole restaurant was empty as I was the first customer for the night. The staff told me to sit at the table which was at the corner, right next to the door. (It was really right next to the door, I almost felt like I was between the restaurant and outside) I asked her if I could have a next one and she said "NO" straight forward without saying sorry or anything. Of course it should not have been right if I wanted a big table on my own. but why one at the very corner although the restaurant was empty? And also if it was a certain rule of the restaurant they should have explained it to me carefully. I left and found a better restaurant. And they did not have me sit at the table next...

What a lovely place. Very quaint. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We were two couples and we paid 95€ per couple. We had one bottle of white wine (great selection) 4 appetizers (mussels for me yum) and 4 main courses. One friend had the calamari for their appetizer. We all tasted it and it was delicious. I ordered the same for my main and mine was not good. I had chunks of charcoal in mine that hurt my teeth. I was sitting next to a drain in the sidewalk and the servers kept splashing me with water they disposed from other tables as the guests left. It was gross. The overall experience was OK but we will not return

A fantastic meal! After touring Europe by bike, this was one of the most enjoyable meals experienced. Excellent and quick service in terms of when dishes were served as well as keeping us hydrated with 3 pitchers of water! Also accommodating English language menu. The serrano and the manchego entrees which were great to start. Beef stew and lamb shoulder wish were so flavorful and tender and hearty, plus a huge platter of genuinely delicious fries. For dessert, there was a lemon meringue pie and a profiterole. Absolutely massive and delightful. Thank you for a terrific meal! Hope to some day return to this restaurant.
