We came at 12:00 a Saturday with a friend to enjoy a big piece of beef, like a pound or more. I must say that the place and the cook made us change our mind! Instead of being in berserk mode he convinced us to try smaller but manier pieces of differents beef. And it was the right way!!! The meat is absolutely delicious, some are delicate and other are strong. It's not very common for restaurants to offer matured meat and it's a very good experience for customers. I should say to come like us early and enjoy a discussion with the owner, for us he happily explained the differences between all kind of meat and what to choose to comply with ours taste.

To enlighten my comment, I eat all kind of meat, rare cooking, and I oftenly eat game animals or game bird. Some meat are strong, especially those with fat! Fat is...

Im very surprised at some of the previous bad reviews as none of this was our experience. We were welcomed warmly by our waiter, then both the meat cook and the owner came to our table to talk about the food and the restaurant. Our waiter offered bottled or tap carafe of water. Coming from meat countries: Australia and New Zealand we found the prices very reasonnable. The food was delicious, the meat cooked the way every likes it and the meat quality speaks for itself so no need for decoration, sauces or any extra seasoning when it's that good. We got a delicious 50 euro bottle of wine and for desserts the best french toast (pain perdue) we have ever had. We left the table bursting full and satisfied; we were six peoole who all ate a different dish.

I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about this gem. They welcomed me in at 9pm on a Saturday evening with a smile, served me wonderful red wine, and brought me over to a total treasure trove of wonderful meats to make an informed choice. I opted for a black angus entrecôte, and it really was melt-in-the-mouth stuff, cooked to absolute perfection. I’ve had a fair few steaks, and this enters my personal hall of fame. Their grillardin is a master. Finished it all off with a chocolate mousse with those amazing flecks of fleur de sel from Aigues-Mortes. Will be back. Merci Beaucoup!!!
