Crispy (Restaurant Irakien) — Restaurant in Poitiers

Wow, what a find. We stayed at the next door B&B hotel and needed something to eat. We had a lovely chicken curry, As we were in France we asked if it was possible to add more heat (pepper) to the dish. No problem, they came up with a nice spiced-up bit of sauce to make the dish even better :-) Finished with a wonderful "kounafa". The waitress was ever so friendly and spoke proper English. When we need a hotel again in the middle of France it will be the same as we would like to try other dishes...

Alors je vais peut-être dénoter en comparaison des autres notes, mais expérience mitigée pour notre part. Côté déco, c’est très beau. Les tables sont agréablement espacées d’ailleurs. Côté cuisine, rien à dire. C’était un excellent. Viande très bien cuite, assaisonnements excellents. Côté service, tout est à revoir. Un petit sourire aurait été apprécié à l’arrivée déjà. Mais bon, ça arrive. Par contre, je me permets quelques conseils (de base pourtant): Quand on commande un apéritif, on n’apporte pas l’entrée si l’apéritif n’est pas fini. Quand on commande une entrée, on n’apporte pas le plat si l’entrée n’est pas finie. Nous poser les plats sur la table alors qu’on est encore en train de manger l’entrée, c’est franchement abusé. Et surtout, on débarrasse la table de temps à autres. À notre départ, on avait sur la table toutes les assiettes, couverts et verres du repas. Le restaurant aurait été plein, passe encore. Mais seulement 3 tables étaient prises donc on ne peut pas mettre ça sur le dos du débordement. Et dernier conseil, le restaurant se voulant un certain standing, on ne sert pas les clients avec un chewing-gum dans la bouche. On n’est pas au MacDo. Les prix...
