Very nice place. Cool decorations and style. Chill, eclectic, beach, island and French. There are tables up against the sea wall overlooking the ocean. Sad we arrived a little late for sunset as it should be phenomenal from this location.

The crowd felt mostly French. Young and old alike. They did not have English menus. French only and a very small font which made it more difficult. Fortunately, our Polynesian server spoke good English and was extremely helpful. There are a couple black labs that lay about the indoor/outdoor restaurant. There was a live band but they started a bit late so we only heard a few songs.

The food was good. We ordered Tuna Tartar, shrimp linguine, and a topless burger. Not really sure why they call it topless. It has a top and bottom bun but the bun is off and standing on its side. The burger is a sliced good steak, not ground. The linguine and shrimp had good flavor and 8-10 medium to large shrimp. The Tuna Tartar had amazing presentation. On the pesto flavors side with sprinkled olive bits around the plate and a dash of pine nuts on top. A nice flavor touch.

After a week of sailing we thought at first not to drink but I ordered a Maitai last minute and wow. The best drink we have had in two weeks of Tahiti. It had alcohol in it. It looked good and tasted great. My wife had to order one after tasting mine. So much for the not drinking tonight.

If you are close to this place and looking for dinner it’s a...

Am sorry 😢 but…. We walked in and wanted to sit near the nice beach there but because there’s a chance of rain the hostess said sorry you can have a drink there but no eating. She sat us at the entrance table for 2. The worst table in this place. We then decided to just have a drink then so she said you can pick any tables you like. Wow nice beach and nice table too very happy 😊. We ordered 2 large HOA beers 🍻 very tasty glad we did… while we drinking people’s are showing up now near the beach seating area with lunch menus and all… I said nice 👍 i guess we can eat here now so I ask a male waiter or manager who just showed if we could get a couple menus also. He said “ is it for 2? I said yes well how about this table sir? I reply sorry I don’t wanna be near the sun. He replied I can move it a bit - I replied no I will like to stay here - he said sorry I can move the other table. I was getting so annoyed at this point I said is there a problem for us to eat here and then he said well you should move to a table for 2 then I replied facture 🧾 s’il vous plaît we are leaving… then he brought us menus and said what would you like to order? OMG 😳 I ask for the bill because I want to get out of here…. Not very professional for a place that when we started was...

Atmosphere 5/5. Drinks 5/5. Food 2/5. Service 2/5. Was disappointed as had been looking forward to coming. I counted 5 people on service looking after 20 people and it took 15-20 minutes to take an order with us presenting obviously in the middle towards the bar. Appears out of 5 servers, only 1 takes orders. Food... why a poorly fried fish comes on top of a salad in a bowl is strange. I get a bowl could be cool but soggy lettuce under a poorly fried piece of fish and mushy squash and some oily greens underneath. Oily and tasteless. Prawn burger weird. Great charcoal bun but 3 heavily battered half size packet prawns inside a bun with lettuce and tomato and some bland sauce. My bad choice but no thanks, not a menu pick. Fries also too heavy from not being cooked in hot enough oil. Dessert was good. Would come back for a drink and fantastic atmosphere but not the food or sorry, the service. Girls where nice but lacking in...

The food here was good, but not enough for the price of the "happy hour". I'm not sure what they meant by it being happy hour since everything was still pricey. Full sized menus were given out to other guests while we were given a smaller tapas menus. There's nothing on the website that states 'only tapas' are available before a certain time. The staff was rude which I didn't expect for such a nice place. If you're looking for somewhere with a beach view to watch the sunset, this is nice until they kick you out of your table for a reservation that they said had arrived 45 minutes early. It was very confusing because there were so many other tables still available. I don't know why we weren't sat at one of the 15+ non-reserved, empty tables if that was an issue. Not professional service.
