I was right behind a group of 3 people that got a seat. I'm next in line, and the waiter asks me what id like. AS SOON AS I BEGAN talking in French with an accent (I'm a tourist from Spain), the waiter said that they were full. I asked whether I could have a pizza to take away and he said again that were full. Another couple went in after me and they got a table. When asked about this, he tells me that they were waiting outside (not true) then another couple just walking by sits in another table and the waiter tells me that they had come a while ago to get a reservation. I clearly saw this couple checking different restaurant options before entering. I was refused for being a foreigner. I saw a British couple asking in English, and he same waiter said right away "no" I'm sure food is lovely, but this is the first time in my life that I feel a racist or xenophobic behaviour towards me. I don't know if this happens often, as most tourists visiting Ile Tudy are French, but I'm really shocked and my experience in Ile Tudy has been ruined a bit.
