La Citadelle — Restaurant in Rochefort

We stopped there for coffee during the morning and sat outside. The man who served us was friendly and the coffee was delicious. But, when we returned at lunchtime for crepes it was very different. First of all I accept that they were really busy but the table we were given was next to a servery where they prepare desserts. It was not very hygienic. Bread and cream was left out, alongside used bottles and cleaning cloths. We were served fairly quickly in all fairness, but however busy you are, you cannot let standards slide. Bit of a mistake to be given a knife and fork to try and eat cream and ice-cream with the crepes, so all of the sauce was wasted. The lady who seemed to be in charge shouted orders out to the girl making desserts and serving at the till. It wasn't just once or twice but many times. We couldn't talk between ourselves. People brushed past us to use the toilet. Such as shame because it's a lovely place. I would rather the owner said that they were full rather then have this treatment. I have waited 3 or 4 days to post the review, so I am not doing...

Un service rapide à ce bar ayant pour thème la Bretagne. Le personnel est conviviale et devance vos éventuelles questions. Les sanitaires sont propres. La bolée de cidre à la pression est servie à la bonne température et se révèle particulièrement délicieuse. Par contre les tables à l'extérieur sont trop rapprochées les unes des autres. Elles se trouvent sur le trottoir obligeant les gens à marcher sur la route qui d'ailleurs ne casse pas trois pattes à un canard. Établissement agréable pour...
