We ate here about a week ago, whilst staying at the Domaine d’Armagnac nearby. Absolutely fabulous! Delicious food, beautifully prepared and seasoned. Service was first class, friendly, helpful , not to mention humorous! Great English too ( thank you!!). We had Tete de Veau, (I had the beef version) which was sublime. Followed by raspberry and lemon sorbet and I had fromage frais en faiseille with crème de marron sauce. All sourced very locally. Good local wines at sensible prices too. We booked and got there for 6.30, but within an hour the place was packed with happy eaters! How the guys managed to cook and serve all those covers between 2 people is astonishing! Well done chaps! We ate here last night, and both agree that this restaurant is phenomenal! My brother had a traditional french dish called tetè de veau sauce gribiche en pot au jeu. He described the dish as subtle and quite delicious. I had the oligot beuf, which was perfect. The service and friendlyness of the entire staff was awesome. Our family dined here last night and had an incredible experience! The local cuisine combined with warming service & ambience just made the night top-tier.
