We felt very welcome as tourists. service cannot get much better. Very friendly and attentive staff. They try their best at English, as we do at French, which worked fine. The host is everywhere and never slips. The junior waiter is less experienced but tries his very best. the decor is basic, not very exciting. You can sit on the terrace or inside (airco). Inside was good. Tip: put some light music on the menu is limited. The food was decent, not great. We had: Tartare du boeuf: average, a bit too warm and lacking structure. The egg yolk smothered the tartare and did not mix well. I have had far better in France. Gambas: fresh, good taste Filet de boeuf: good, the sides (a few haricots verts, carrot slices, fries) were a bit poor Salade Jurassiene: average, the individual ingredients are ok but the combination was not great. Nous avions demandé une planche à manger à deux pour l’apéritif, nous avons vu arriver de la tapenade et des petites tranches de pains 20mn plus tard et la planche est arrivée 10mn après. Puis nous avons attendu 40 mn ( alors que les tables arrivées après nous étaient servies autour) pour se faire servir deux steak tartare moulinés. Je n’ai pas pu manger le mien que j’ai laissé à mon mari. A 19€, on s’attend à mieux. Un steak tartare, s’il n’est pas coupé au couteau, c’est de la viande hachée et pas de la bouillie. Le plat accompagné 10mn plus tard par 10 pauvres frites ( en soit excellentes parceque maison). Le vin demandé à l’apéritif est arrivé à la fin du plat après l’avoir réclamé.
