The Little Italy — Restaurant in Saint-Germain-en-Laye

The pizza is terrible. It was not even warm but it didn’t matter much as the cheese seems synthetic and crust doughy. There wasn’t anything else to it. The “burger” is actually a sandwich with sliced deli meat. Don’t try to be clever - say what the food actually is. Also waited a long time.

And, despite our reminding them the restaurant did not register our arrival through La Fourchette so our reservation was not acknowledged causing us to lose our points. Entire experience was horrible. What a disappointment. Stay away from this dreadful food and restaurant.

I don’t write well in French but the person who had the “burger” is fluent and he didn’t know it was going to be a sandwich. Plus, it doesn’t matter and it doesn’t matter if you’ve been to Italy or whatever. The pizza and “burger” were still awful. The pizza was still cold. Bon bah en ce moment pour les restau j’ai l’impression qu’on tombe plutôt bien. Découverte du Little Italy à Poissy. Ambiance industrielle très sympa.

Pour accéder au menu vous devez télécharger l’appli du restau sur votre téléphone (vous pouvez le faire avant d’y aller si vous voulez voir le menu) grâce à un flashcode situé sur votre table. Une petite photo et hop vous arrivez direct sur l’appli pour la télécharger. Si vous n’arrivez pas à vous dépatouiller, des cartes sont mises à votre disposition.

Nous avons opté pour le menu bambino avec pizzeta tomates jambon (prédécoupée, ça c’est pratique), mais la carte indique que l’enfant peut choisir les ingrédients qu’il veut (et ne veut pas du coup) sur sa pizza. Ça peut vous sauver un dîner ! Le menu comprenait aussi une boisson (jus d’orange pour nous) et un dessert (va pour la pizza au Nutella).

Pour les adultes c’était une pizza à la truffe et une spicy girl. L’ensemble était vraiment très bon. Les produits frais et de qualité et les pizzas (tout comme le menu d’ailleurs) bien travaillés.

Nous n’avions plus de place pour le dessert tant les pizzas étaient copieuses mais je reviendrai pour tenter le tiramisu.

Been there twice while on tour:

the food is delicious. Very authentic and tasty (none of that “carbonara” with cream!!) staff was very nice and accommodating (we were a group of 6 and walked-in as soon as it opened. It was a bit complicated, but they found a way to have us! Thank you again for that!) the atmosphere is very well curated, ideal for both romantic and friendly contexts.
