Oncle Scott's — Restaurant in Saint-Lô

Tonight we went to this restaurant. As starter we took the camambert to share. This one was really nice, great taste. Unfortunately the spareribs we ate as main course weren't that good. The taste was good, but my partners spareribs were ice cold. I started eating mine and those were warm, or as I thought. My partner send his spareribs back, they came back after a couple of minutes but it was obvious they had been put in the microwave. As I ate further I noticed the end of my spareribs was also cold. Because we know the spareribs had been put in the microwave, we really enjoyed our meal less.

Portions of meat were also not really big, it's mostly fries you get. Waitress also didn't speak English which made it really difficult to...

Carentan doesn't have a Buffalo Grill, instead they have oncle Scott's, a tex Mexican type place, attempting to follow the Buffalo Grill model. Food OK but pricey and they were happy to serve steak hache cooked medium, some of that was my son not understanding that would mean the hache being pink in the middle. Oddly no steaks on the menu. Awful country music by Scott playing constantly and loudly, staff a bit miserable and it was closed on a Friday evening (!). Useful for a quick meal but not the same experience as a...

Fast service and good quality of foods. However, our apero was not the same as in the photo, we got only 3-4 saucisson which in the photo is way more than that. Also, no pickle compare with their menu 🥲 (I forgot to take a photo). Tartare de fraise was missed in assiette gourmande (I guess they replaced it with cookie but it should at least inform ahead). It would be great if they be more careful about the accuracy of their foods and what it shown on the menu.
