Had dinner for 2 here in the evening. We arrived at this father and son run restaurant, situated in a side street of the main street of Dol the Bretagne. The restaurant is situated in a very old and charming building. The tables are randomly scattered throughout the dining room where the fireplace immediately stands out. We were greeted warmly and even though the restaurant was almost empty, we were lucky enough to get a table as within 15 minutes the entire restaurant was full and bustling. The menu was explained properly, a set menu of 2-3 courses. The food was superb, local produce all well prepared. Fantastic experience, not just a meal! This is an amazing place, very atmospheric and a wonderful menu. Meat and fish cooked on an open fire. Luckily we booked ahead as we came upon the restaurant on a walk. Recommend booking as they had to turn people away. Très belle surprise. Découvert par hasard en cherchant un restaurant à 13h15, un samedi de janvier à Dol de Bretagne. La carte nous a décidé à franchir le seuil de ce restaurant avec une formule du midi à 13€ proposant 3 entrées, 3 plats (dont un poisson) et 3 desserts. Le cadre est très accueillant et chaleureux. Petite salle au rez-de-chaussée avec une cheminée et quelques tables bien disposées. Nous sommes trois convives immédiatement accueillis malgré l'heure tardive et confortablement installés à une table ronde. Nous choisissons chacun une entrée différente et un plat différent. Les assiettes arrivent rapidement et sont joliment dressées. Le serveur est très professionnel et sympathique. On se sent tout de suite bien dans cet établissement. Les entrées et les plats sont tous appréciés. Ça sent bon la cuisine maison, les produits frais et le cuisinier expérimenté. Les desserts maison, eux aussi, sont gourmands. Même le vin en carafe est très bien. Un petit tour aux toilettes au premier étage nous fait découvrir une grande salle, idéale pour les fêtes, et la propreté des toilettes finit de nous convaincre.
