Le Réservoir 1902 — Restaurant in Saint-Pierre

Arrived at noon, there was only one table with 2 guests waiting taken, we were seated and had to wait ridiculously long (almost 2 hrs) to get the food - place began slowly to fill and all later arrivals after us got slowly their order.

We were served the second round of of beverages and were once again put off - the grilling of the seafood is apparently a complex, time consuming process.

In the end we got our order - fish was dry, fortunately at least the side dishes saved the day.

Payment by card is not possible, so only cash and the "receipt" did not contain a timestamp or other legally required fiscal information...

Update 16.05.24: Owner answered, i was surprised that he did not address any of the mentioned topics - neither the organisational issues (long waiting time), nor the quality (overcooked fish), nor the receipt(fiscal) issue. Whish them to be able to solve all of them and all the very best for...

This place was so amazing we went there for dinner two nights in a row, first night the chef was alone but he prepared the meals fairly quickly and was very welcoming, our experience was even better the second night, chef offered us small shots after our meal as gratitude and was very happy we came back, also the waitress was very nice and attentive, this place is a must try if you visit Martinique, don't expect a culinary experience you'd get from a fancy restaurant, this place is more comfy and a local gem and has its own vibe, don't expect the perfect service from this place or you won't enjoy the actual experience and what it offers, mind that not everything on the menu may always be available and that's because they prepare only with fresh ingredients and...

Very disappointing experience. Despite making a reservation for noon, we were not seated until 1 pm, because the owner left to the store. It only went downhill from there. The waitress was rude and unpleasant. She wouldn’t offer us drinks or even a seat. We were ticked off by her attitude and about to leave, but the owner showed up and assured us of (slow but proper) service. The appetizers were delicious, drinks were ok, main course - fish - undercooked (completely raw in the middle), while beef overcooked and rubbery. They also run out of their most popular drink.
