We are a retired couple and had been out enjoying the fantastic cycling to be experienced in this region. We decided to stop for a coffee/morning tea, as we call it in NZ. I asked if we could do this and the waitress said you can sit at the back. The back meant a seating area that had outdoor furniture designed to have thick cushions and backrest pads in place (no cushions anywhere to be seen). The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend a wine or a dessert to complete your meal. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. I highly recommend Le Centenaire to anyone who wants to enjoy a memorable dining experience in the heart of the Périgord. It is...

"Use the tables on the street or sit at the lounger at the back". We suggested a 10 minute coffee break in the main area wouldn't hurt but were told "no". I speak French, it wasn't miscommunication. We took the seating area at the back but left shortly after given neither the gentleman nor the lady bothered to give us a menu or take our order. There is an alternative place to have coffee in...
