✨️Small Burgers – Big Price, Tiny Bite✨️
As someone who’s grown up with McDonald’s as the go-to for a quick, satisfying meal, it's hard not to notice a recent trend: burgers that keep shrinking, while prices keep climbing.
Size Matters (And These Burgers Miss the Mark)
Ordering a Big Mac or Cheeseburger used to feel like you were getting value for money. These days? The patties are noticeably thinner, the buns smaller, and the overall portion feels more like a snack than a meal. Especially when you're paying premium prices for what seems like miniature burgers. It’s almost comical—like ordering a “meal” and receiving something that could fit in the palm of your hand.
Menus That Don’t Match the Price Tag
The menu prices have crept up significantly over the years, and yet the portion sizes have done the opposite. A “Value Meal” feels less like a value and more like a high-priced combo of modest food. For the same price, local gourmet burger joints now offer fresher, heartier options.
Taste Still Delivers – Barely
To be fair, the signature McDonald's taste is still there—nostalgic, salty, and satisfying… for about five bites. But when you’re done before you even feel like you started, the experience leaves you more disappointed than full.
Verdict? McDonald's small burgers are tasty but underwhelming in size, especially given their increasingly high price. If you're hoping for a filling meal, you'd better double up or look elsewhere. McDonald's needs to find a better balance between price and portion if it wants to keep loyal customers satisfied.

He took them back and was treated quite rudely by a young lady. She refused to give him anymore fries but instead gave him his money back for the fries. For good customer service, offer your customer the choice of having a new portion of fries or their money back. The food was not the same quality as it is in the UK, for a big mac meal and a burger & fries from the saver menu it cost us £15. The food wasn't great, the service wasn't great and overall rather...
Read moreFood was okay. Sadly though McDonalds have lost their interpersonal touch. You have to order through the automates, the result is that all the staff behind the counter spend 95% of their time looking at computer screens and not interacting in a 'McDonalds Friendly Server' way. Sadly McDonalds striving to be 21st Century correct is destroying what was the heart and soul of the McDonald's experience. The service is slower than before the automates were introduced, it is a fact, and more than not at least one component of a 'hot meal' is cold. Don't even think of complaining, you are treated...
