Pizza Lupo Carsac — Restaurant in Sarlat-la-Canéda

We first bumped into the owner, unknowingly, when we were sat in the bar and tabac opposite Pizza Lupo. In the bar he was very friendly and chatty, and then once the restaurant had opened we met him again. He told me that he had been open for about four weeks and business was good.

I say restaurant, it's actually more of a pizza takeaway restaurant, with a few tables and a bar stool area to use if you do want to eat in. There's a fridge with cold drinks.

I ordered our pizza, a perigord pizza, comprising cream sauce, mozzarella, smoked duck, duck gizzards and dried parsley. I agreed to collect it 20 minutes later at 7pm. I returned and it was ready.

I read the reviews before visiting, they all seemed very good with the exception of one, where the reviewer had only given one star 🌟 because they wanted potato on their pizza! Now I like potato on my pizza too, but I certainly wouldn't give a really low review because they didn't have one ingredient that i liked. It seems to me like this was a very unreasonable review, presumably they didn't even have a pizza and tasted how good they are, they just didn't get potato so gave it one star!!!!

Our pizza was lovely, and it seemed only right when visiting the Dordogne to have a pizza with a local theme, and it was very good. It was also really convenient, travelling around the area it was great to be able to get a takeaway pizza on a lovely mid-October evening.

Horrible horrible service! Pizza guy said it would take 20 mins to deliver the pizza and took one hour! We asked for 3 pizzas one turned out broken and another one burnt!! I never bad reviews on Google but this is too bad not to...

J ais manger sur place car la patronne m'a dit qu il y avait des tables (table de 6 ) une seule J ais demandez de la bière pas de bière sauf de la sans alcool elle me soutiens que le bar d en face en vends le restaurant du dessus aussi dont pas besoin d en servir. J ais goûter sa bière sans alcool que je connais .mais comme elle me soutiens qu à le même goût q une vrai bière je cède.
