Restaurant Le Strasbourg — Restaurant in Sarreguemines

We stayed in this hotel for 2 night and enjoyed our stay. Our room 'Curcurma' had a view onto the main street and was newly refurbished. The bed was comfortable, the WIFI was brilliant and free and there was enough space. Two small negative points were a very small TV and a smell from the severs from the shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best bit was breakfast, I have often been disappointed in France from their pain au chocolats, croissants and baguettes even though they really should be the experts, and at least this hotel did not let me down! Not often that I give a 5 star rating but le Strasbourg has earned it. Diner there has been a real treat, every course of our 3 course day menu was more then perfect and the 5 (or was it 6?) amuses in between made the evening into an unexpected feast. Zimmer: das *-Hotel hällt mehr, als es verspricht: geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber, alles in gutem Zustand. Wir hatten die Suite "SECHUAN" gebucht und genossen: schönster grosser Balkon auf die Südseite, absolut ruhig. Service, Abendessen: Einfach der Hammer! Eine völlig unerwartete Rafinesse wird vom Küchenchef und Mitinhaber auf die Teller gezaubert. Wir haben zwei mal hintereinander das 5-Gang-Menu gegessen. In grösster Selbstverständlichkeit hat uns die Chefin am zweiten Abend eine völlig andere Auswahl angeboten, auf dass es unseren Gaumen nicht langweilig werde. So geht "den Gast Ernst nehmen"! Schöne Wein-Auswahl. Und dass das Restaurant geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist und über sehr bequeme Stühle verfügt, stört den anspruchsvollen Gast auch nicht :-) Service, Frühstück: Frisch, abwechslungsreich, besonders geschätzt haben wir die frischen Früchte und den frisch gepressten Orangensaft Standort: Wenn Sie die absolute Ruhe suchen, sind Sie in Bitche absolut richtig. Noch nie waren wir an einem etwas grösseren Ort, wo es einfach keinen Grundlärm gab. Obwohl das Hotel mitten im Städtchen liegt, ist es am Abend, in der Nacht und am Morgen "totenstill".

Also - einfach selber überzeugen, der vielleicht längere Weg lohnt sich. Danke an das Team "le Strasbourg"
