Les Aiguilles De Bavella — Restaurant in Sartène

This place is excellent in a lot of regards.

They offer top quality meals, when "it was too late" for the other two restaurants nearby, the staff are excellent, very nice, the meals were all of a quite large portion and very tasty.

You can even get accommodation (with breakfast, lunch, dinner included) below in the basement on bunkbeds, they have showers, a small kitchen.

Overall, it was an excellent choice to rest here for the evening before continuing our journey...

At 11am, we’ve ordered 2 cappuccinos at an almost empty restaurant. We were served two cups of warm milk with barely dissolved instant coffee or similar substance floating on top although they have an espresso machine. Upon politely asking whether our order was misunderstood, we were informed in no uncertain terms that “chez nous le cappuccino est comme ça”....

This was such a nice place - our first question was “do you accept credit card” as some very nearby places don’t or pretend they don’t accept CC but here the waiter/ owner was very clear: yes we do - the food itself was very tasty, the service was very friendly (almost ‘not-French’ if you get my point), and the location/ view is excellent - thank you...
